ABOUT
Serving the Sacred Valley for over 10 years
Hi, I am Sean West …
Along with growing with my partner and raising our children, I have dedicated my life to the healing practice.
I help people shift and move through their blocks using bodywork, introspective tarot, medicines ceremonies, music & sound, and deep listening.
Over 25 years of being a therapist has taught me that anything can be healed and cleared when you get the right perspective on it.
I am a musician and composer, and enjoy creating original pieces to use during my ceremonies and to share with others.
I am also very involved in the local, healing community.
My Therapeutic Approach
I have been a body worker, deep listener (tarot reader), and ceremonialist for over 20 years. I am still learning and applying experiences from these modalities - and each modality influences my approach to the others.
One of the deepest understandings I’ve gained, is that healing comes from within each one of us. Through empowerment and taking full responsibility, we can heal anything and become the person we are meant to be.
Facilitating this encounter within and teaching my clients how to heal themselves, gives deeper meaning and purpose to my practice.
I do not support healing paradigms that create adversarial relationships with any process, trauma or illness. All is to be honored, loved, and integrated.
Learning to respect and see the blessing of everything, enables us to let go of the tension and judgment that causes suffering, slows healing and blocks our inner joy.
Breaking up thought patterns that do-not-serve, is an important step in cultivating empowerment, and I have found meditation, visualization and mantra to be invaluable tools for this.
Community Involvement
I have been active in the SV community for many years now, and my main priority is to create a safe environment for those who come here [searching] for healing.
To accelerate that effort, I attend community meetings and administer and maintain a local facebook group called
Spirit Events Sacred Valley. The group is 20,000 members strong and supports the area’s verified safe therapists and ceremony facilitators.
Armor Therapy
One of my personal accomplishments has been the development of Armor Therapy - a very effective trauma and tension release bodywork.
I began training in Korean Acupressure and since then, I have been exposed to many techniques including a 5-year training in Shiatsu.
Looking for a faster and more effective method to release trauma in the body, I came to develop my own technique called Armor Release Therapy, in which I incorporate elements from ancient trauma-release modalities..
Through this therapy, I have helped people heal migraines, chronic pain, and anxiety, and seen massive breakthroughs in all aspects of personal growth and healing.
I see helping others as a way of easing suffering and enhancing the whole paradigm shift.
Being of service is what makes sense for me in this reality
